A Family-owned Italian Restaurant since 1987

Lucios Pizzeria started in 1987 with just 7 tables and had been grown into the successful 140 seater it is today by late owner Claudio Merlo. In the 22 years Claudio managed Lucios, it has become a local institution that perfected the art of the homely eatery.


Lucios’ appeal lies in its uncomplicated approach: simply excellent food served in sync with a wholesome family atmosphere. Part of the fun in eating at Lucios is the fact that it is an unhurried social experience, with plenty of time to interact with the friendly restaurant staff and your dining companions.


Its setting and atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation and enjoyment of delicious food and wide variety of wine. Most importantly, Lucios’ primary goal is excellence, not making a fortune.


After the tragic and sudden passing of Claudio in January 2009, management has been taken over by mother-and-son duo, Bimba and Armando. They believe in the upkeep of Claudio’s standards and traditions at Lucios.
